faqs

  1. How long will it take to pass my test?
The DSA recommend that to be able to pass your test you need 45hrs tuition and an additional 22hrs private practice. However at Kev’s Driving School people are able to pass first time much quicker than that, even without private practice.
  2. How much are lessons?
Lesson prices are very competitive with other local driving schools, with lots of special offers. See the prices page for more information.
  3. Do I need to pass my theory test before I start my practical lessons?
No you don’t. At Kev’s Driving School I recommend that you start your lessons and revision at the same time, and book your theory test after a few weeks. During your driving I will also help with your revision, pointing out signs and explaining things etc.
  4. Are you a fully qualified driving instructor?
Yes I trained to be a Driving instructor with a major national driving school gaining my ADI certificate before setting up Kev’s Driving School
  5. Can you pick me up and drop me off elsewhere?
I am very flexible in my approach and can accommodate many different circumstances
  6. Is your car dual controlled?
Yes the car is fully dual controlled
  7. Do examiners have to fail a certain number of people?
No, the examiners do not have any quotas. If you’re good enough to pass your test you will
  8. Whose car will I take the driving test in?
You will take the test in my car so you are used to all the controls
